February is the second and shortest month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian schedule with 28 days. However, it has 29 days in leap years which emerges in every 4 years. The Roman month Februarius comes from the Latin term februum which means purification and It was named after Februalia, the Roman festival of purification. The purification ritual actualizes on 15th February in the old lunar Roman Calendar. Moreover, February has the Valentine’s Day in it so February is commemorated as month of love. In addition, February is the last month of the Roman calendar and February includes the signs of the zodiac of Pisces and Aquarius.
